Archeological Survey of India has taken initiatives to restore some of the forsaken monumental heritages in Kerala, following the preparation of the Heritage Bill by the Government to ensure preservation of historic monuments and buildings in Kerala, as a means to transpose past official neglect, but equally ask for the support of the society and the need to avoid commercialization of these monuments.
